Jaguar XJ-S 3.6 Litre Convertible

Comments: It’s always a little sad to see cars ‘burnt-out’, but this particular vehicle was even worse as the vehicle’s overall condition was so good.

My assessment was to retrospectively value the vehicle prior to the incident, and also to assess the damage and estimate costs to repair (if possible).

Unfortunately the costs involved in repairing the vehicle made the work beyond economic sense, and the vehicle has gone to the great breaker’s yard in the sky! The lesson in all this is to make sure that your ‘pride and joy’ is correctly valued and insured before it’s in a write off situation.
